Can homeopathy be used with conventional medicine?

Yes, homeopathic remedies can be used safely alongside conventional medications. It is important not to stop or conventional medications prior to the homeopathy appointment. Certain medications, such as steroids, may impact on homeopathic treatments but it is not necessary to stop medication before homeopathy can be started.

Does pet insurance cover homeopathy?

Yes, most insurance companies cover homeopathy as part of the complementary treatment cover. Please check your policy details or speak to your pet insurance provider.

Do I have to be referred by my primary vet?

The referral may be client-led. Your routine vet will need to be sent a referral form to complete, as requested by you, and return to me prior to the homeopathy consultation. I provide a referral service only and as such it is a requirement for all patients to be registered with a first-opinion veterinary practice that provides routine, and 24-hour emergency services. I am only able to offer treatment for animals under my care, after receiving a referral form and their medical history from the primary vet.

How long will treatment be needed?

The number of consultations required depends on the animal and the nature of the condition. Several consultations may be required for complicated conditions, or for conditions that your pet has had for a long time.

How far do you travel?

I provide home visits throughout South West London, Surrey and surrounding areas.

If you are more than 15 miles from Leatherhead, Surrey, there may be an additional travel fee. Please contact me directly to discuss.
